Rihanna and Drake Dating Again?
Rihanna and Drake were recently seen hanging out together two nights in a row, sparking rumors of a romantic reunion.
“Whatever happens between them, happens,” a source said. “They’re doing what they do on the low, and they like to keep it that way. They fill each other’s needs when they can, and that’s how they’re choosing to roll.”
The source also said that Rihanna and Drake love seeing each other, but attempting to settle down and have a “committed” relationship isn’t in the cards for them at this time in their careers.

Drake sings in Spanish new song “Odio”
Drake may not have taken a home a Grammy last night, but maybe next year he can take home a Latin Grammy? Yes, the rapper-actor-comedian has teamed up with Aventura frontman Romeo Santos for the Spanish-language single, “Odio”.
Santos sticks mostly to his Bachata roots, but Drake pulls double-duty by rapping in English and crooning in Spanish. As someone who grew up in Phoenix, AZ, surrounded by ranchera and norteño music, his accent could use some work.
It also features Drake’s Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, plus Marc Anthony, Carlos Santana, Tego Calderón, and Kevin Hart.
Drake & Kendrick Lamar Face Off For Best Rap Album At Grammys
Either Drake or Kendrick Lamar are going to be able to back up all of their trash-talk when the winner is declared in the rappers’ feud at the Grammy Awards on Jan. 26, with Kendrick’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City and Drake’s Nothing Was the Same up for Best Rap Album.
The two rappers are there game right now, but winning the biggest award will definitely let either guy get a word in edgewise. And with all the disses they’ve been trading back and forth, you know they’ll be taking the face-off seriously.
But if either guy wins, it’s going to feel sweet — they’ve each been saying they’re the best for months, and now they’ll have proof.
After Kendrick said he was the best rapper and called Drake.
The rappers claim that their back-and-forth is merely a little friendly competition, but you can feel they venom when they go after each other. So you know it’ll hurt to see the other guy raise the trophy on Jan. 26.
Drake’s Partnership With the Raptors Makes Dollars and Sense
Torontonians support the Raptors. Some even believe the team can make the playoffs, and one day win the Larry O’Brien trophy despite only witnessing five playoff seasons in its 18-year history.
On Sept. 30, 2013, the Toronto Raptors named Drake its global ambassador, a decision it claimed would help reignite that fire. Tim Leiweke, president and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment said the franchise would be getting a face lift, adding that the rapper would be heavily involved in the re-branding. Can Drake really help the Raps become the hottest team in the league.

Drake snags 5 Grammy nominations, says he feels like he’s already won
As strange as it is say that one of the top nominees at the Grammys is also one of its most prominent snubs, a case could be made for Drake.
The Toronto rapper has five nominations at this Sunday’s gala — but once again, the 27-year-old star was left out of the show’s three marquee categories: record, song and album of the year.
This despite the fact that his forward-thinking “Nothing Was the Same” was the year’s seventh-bestselling album in the U.S. after moving 1.34 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
He’s thus now been nominated for his own music 15 times but only once outside of the rap categories, when he ceded best new artist to Esperanza Spalding in 2011.
If his spotty record at the awards soiree bothers the songwriter, he didn’t let on during a recent interview in Toronto.
“To be recognized in any capacity for the music that we make is great, that’s my opinion. I think it’s a great organization and obviously (has a) deep-rooted history in music, but at the same time, if I go home with no Grammys I still feel great about what we did.
“I think anybody should feel that way.”
The 56th Grammy Awards was in many ways the most surprising in recent years — and it’s left pundits unsure of what to expect.
“Most of the time, if you’re nominated for both record and song of the year, that’s an advantage,” he said.
In such a scattershot year, no predictions are being hazarded with much confidence or certainty. And thus, it seems increasingly unlikely that the annual awards bash will be carried by one breakout star.
“Macklemore & Ryan Lewis could be the breakout stars, but they sort of already are Montgomery said. “If they’re going to do that, it might be for Lorde. That could be a big story. Or even Kacey Musgraves — not many country artists have won best new artist.
“But really, this could be one of those years. There may not be a big news story coming out of it.”
Drake on SNL: Rapper makes fun at Toronto, Rob Ford and YOLO
Drake wowed on Saturday Night Live this weekend, where he paid homage to his hometown of Toronto, its infamous Mayor Rob Ford, and took a moment to apologize for the obnoxiousness of the expression YOLO.
Drake was pulling double duty Saturday as both host and musical guest on the late-night show.
In his first jokes of the evening, Drake explained he grew up in Toronto, quipping: “The city of Toronto, where the rappers are polite and the mayor smokes crack.”
For his opening monologue, Drake also acknowledged his role on Canadian teen-drama Degrassi High, as well as his Jewish and black heritage.
In the skit, the 27-year-old, born Aubrey Drake Graham, said: “As a man, I’d like to now announce that I’ll be called Drake” … before his mother corrects it to “Drakob.”
Drake as A-Rod
During a special “Public Figures Apologies” episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, A-Rod (Drake) says he’s “suing steroids for being inside of me and I’m suing Jackie Robinson for breaking into the major leagues which really led to this whole situation.
Speaking in a Hispanic accent, Drake-as-A-Rod blamed his incriminating text messages to dealer Tony Bosch on “auto-correct.”
“One time I texted Bosch: ‘What up, son? Thinking of seeing ‘Frozen.’ Heard good things.’ But somehow that auto-corrected to: ‘Just took a hundred steroids. Need to buy much more. This is A-Rod, BTW.'”
Lil Wayne’s TV debut
On the ‘Hip Hop Classics’ segment, which looks back at the acting debuts of rap stars, Lil Wayne (played by Drake), gets his big break on the small screen as a gun-toting Steve Urkel on Family Matters.
Drake appeared2 times on stage as SNL’s musical guest, beginning with hit single Started From the Bottom, which segued into Trophies.
After that, Drake performed a stripped down version of Hold On, We’re Going Home and From Time with Jhene Aiko.
