Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour comes to the end
Drake and Lil Wayne say they should tour together again after they release their upcoming albums.
And of course Drake and Lil Wayne ended their Drake Vs. Lil Wayne tour in a tie.
“We’re tied up tonight,” Drake said on the last night of their joint tour. “I know there has to be a winner or they want to see a winner, but I’ve got an idea. I feel like, you put out this Carter V, I put out this Views From The 6, we do this tour again next year and we start that bitch in Houston.”
Drake Vs. Lil Wayne allowed their audiences to vote on a winner between Drake and Wayne every night of their tour. The votes were calculated through an app and a victor would be announced. The duo was tied before this final performance of the tour, but they decided to end it with tie. “It’s only right,” Drake said. “We share the same fans. We’re like a family.”
Drake gets 3 new tattoos
Last month Drake was seen with on-off again flame Rihanna, sparking rumors they might be giving their romance another try.
This month Drake showed off a collection of 3 new tattoos, with one hinting that his turbulent relationship with Rihanna might have hit an end.
Drake was having dinner at Rivabella in Beverly Hills where he showed off his new tats. With the one on his right forearm saying, ‘Everything happens for a reason sweet thing.’
On his left arm, the rapper had the famous emoji symbol of two hands clasped together next to the number 6.
Drake has yet to commented on the meaning behind the tattoos it hasn’t taken long for theories to arise. In August this year, during his performance of Days In The East at a show in Toronto, a picture of Rihanna’s face flashed up alongside the devil’s alleged number of ‘666.’
After that performance the 27 year old rapper posted on social media an image of him standing next to the fiery number six with the caption: ‘All I know.’
The number 6 could also be for to his upcoming album titled Views From The 6.
Drake’s tattoo artist, Dr. Woo posted a picture of Drake’s three new tats on Instagram alongside the caption, ‘@champagnepapi good times, thanks for the visit #jimjoe6 #wordsofwisdom #shamrocksocialclub.’
Drake wrote,‘It will be a debate until the end of time…high five or praying hands…life is what you make it haaa,’ but the comment has since been deleted.
Drake was tattooed at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlour in Hollywood earlier in the week.
In 2012 the Drake had an intricate tattoo dedicated to his hometown of Toronto, Canada and of the late singer Aaliyah.
The tattoo has a large 416, which is the area code of his home city.
‘Drake VS Lil Wayne’ tour in Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach’s Farm Bureau Live amphitheater was the place for ‘Drake VS Lil Wayne’ tour.
The Wednesday night’s show was sold out and for nearly three hours and seven rounds, Drake and Wayne battled sets with hits like Wayne’s ‘Blunt Blowin’ and ‘Steady Mobbin’,’ and Drake’s ‘The Language’ and ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home.’
Fans voted thru the show with the ‘Drake VS Lil Wayne’ app to vote for the winner of each round.
The two rappers were clearly excited to be in Virginia Beach and showed it.
With this type of concert the crowd really made the show special. The fans gathered here to watch two rappers duel with verses about the importance of money over everything, sex and violence as a means to an end.
The energy allowed both Drake and Wayne to turn a simple show into a tantalizing experience.
